Previous experience in a cash-handling retail environment is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude. Provide superior customer service to exceed customer needs. Connect with our customers through great local food. Work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Efficiently process cash, debit, and credit transactions. Bag customer purchases with care. Maintain a clean and tidy work area. Perform a variety of cleaning tasks. Attend to the cleaning and replenishing of the floral area near the till line. Remain aware of store products, changes, and seasonal requirements. What Your Bring To The Table The ability to work a variety of shifts including mid-day weekdays and weekends, approximately 20 hours weekly. The ability to perform repetitive tasks, stand for long periods of time, work in a cool environment, and lift up to 50lbs. The ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a busy environment. The ability to work well within a team. Previous retail/customer service experience is an asset, but we are willing to train the right person with the right attitude! The cashier is responsible for providing superior customer service and efficiently processing cash, debit, and credit transactions. Additional duties include bagging purchases, maintaining a clean work area, and replenishing the floral section.

Candidates should be able to work approximately 20 hours weekly, including weekends, and be capable of lifting up to 50lbs. Previous retail or customer service experience is considered an asset but not required.
