Intermediate Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer

Key Responsibilities: · Develop Electrical Drawing packages including: · Single Line Drawings · Area Classifications · RTU, PLC and/or DCS Control System wiring schematics · Package electrical layouts and junction box wiring drawings · Heat Trace Design using relevant industry standard software (Thermon/Raychem). · Cable Schedules Assist with development, specification and evaluation of Electrical Equipment RFQs. Assist with development and evaluation of Contractor RFQs. Work with other Engineering disciplines to obtain information and interpret electrical design requirements. Provide support to project managers and project team. Qualifications/Requirements: · 2 to 8 years Electrical Engineering experience. · A diploma or degree from an accredited post secondary institution in Electrical Engineering. · Membership with APEGA or eligibility to obtain this. The following Will be Considered an Asset: · EPCM experience · Oil and Gas or Industrial control system design experience. · Power System Software Analysis in ETAP. · Field level experience in electrical installations, construction and/or commissioning.

The role involves developing electrical drawing packages, including single line drawings, control system schematics, and heat trace designs. Additionally, the engineer will assist in the development and evaluation of equipment and contractor RFQs while supporting project managers.

Candidates must have 2 to 8 years of electrical engineering experience and a diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering. Membership or eligibility for APEGA is required.
