General Job Description Working as an Industrial Millwright, you will be reporting to our Maintenance Team, a group of Skilled Trade professionals. You will play a vital role in supporting production within our Just-In-Time lean manufacturing environment. Compensation And Benefits Hourly wages of $43.26.00 Paid overtime after 40/hours per week Shift Premiums ranging from +$0.40 to +$0.65 (Afternoon Shift) & +$1.00 (Night Shift) We Offer a Very Extensive Benefit Program Company Paid time off: Up to 10 Days + 5 Float Days to start, 15 Days + 5 Float Days (1st full year) Benefits start from Day 1 – 90% Medical, 80% Dental, Variety of Paramedical Coverage ($500/service) Uniforms are Provided + Yearly Allowance + Yearly Safety Boot Allowance Employee Assistance Program provided through Manulife/Homewood Employee Appreciation Events and Celebrations throughout the year and $Cash Recognition Programs Responsibilities By working in a Just-In-Time Environment – our Team must be flexible and willing to adapt to changing work priorities, while understating and maintaining a safe work environment. It is vital that we demonstrate respect for Team Members on all levels and working as a cross-functional team have open lines of communication. Work within a Just-in-Time Environment with a sense of urgency to maintain the plants equipment and continually improve our current processes while preventing downtime enabling production to meet targets Perform routine preventive maintenance on all assigned machinery and equipment and check equipment for wear and possible down time to prevent major problems and emergency shutdowns. Troubleshooting equipment, which can include but is not limited to Robotics, Hydraulics, Pneumatics and PLC’s Tests, inspects, dismantles, repairs piping, fittings and fixtures as required for maintenance and construction of pipelines for air, water, steam, acid, caustic, etc. Maintains inventory of spare parts. Attends daily Start of Shift and End of Shift meetings for proper handover of shifts. Ensure a positive work environment and awareness of company quality policy, goals, objectives and your role in TG Minto’s success. Follow work instructions. Conduct other duties as business needs require Requirements We are looking for Team Members who are dedicated to learning and continuous improvement. Millwrights must hold a 433A License or Apprenticeship for 433A Install, maintain, upgrade and repair electrical equipment including: Power and control cabinets and their components for injection molding machines, conveyors, vacuum conveying equipment, pumps and compressors. Power distribution equipment like transformers, load centers, bus bars, wiring, switch gear, etc. Facility and building electrical systems, such as ceiling fans, inside and outside lighting, electrical outlets, electric vehicle charging stations, emergency lights, etc. Demonstrated hands on experience troubleshooting, repairing and completing preventative maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing/industrial environment Demonstrated experience working with Hydraulics and Pneumatics Experience with the repair of Gate, Globe, Plug and Check Valves. (Repacking, bushing and bonnet repair, gate, and seat repairs) Proficient use of precision machinist tools and able to operate a forklift, carry deck crane, JLG, or other motorized equipment Experience with precision shaft alignment by reverse dial indication method or laser alignment equipment, installing sole plates, and leveling Demonstrated experience working with robots and highly automated equipment Ability to trouble shoot and use critical thinking along with problem solving skills Demonstrated experience with PLCs and electrical knowledge Experience working with injection mold machines as well as paint is considered an asset Experience working with automation is considered an asset Experience working with Yaskawa is considered an asset Ability to read and write English Must be willing to work Overtime when required TG is committed to compliance with all applicable legislation including providing accommodation for applicants with disabilities.
