RESPONSIBILITIES: Drive complex process designs, simulations, and documentation (PFDs, P&IDs, material balances) in compliance with industry standards and TRI’s quality management system. Act as primary checker for junior and intermediate deliverables, rigorously verifying calculations and design parameters to ensure technical and safety integrity. Align process requirements seamlessly with other engineering disciplines and project stakeholders across all project phases. Identify and troubleshoot complex operational bottlenecks, edge cases, and safety risks using sound theoretical and practical engineering principles. Mentor junior engineers and EITs, actively facilitating knowledge transfer and supporting their professional growth. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Process or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university Registered with APEGA, or registered with the provincial body as an engineer in another province in Canada, and eligible for registration with APEGA as a P.Eng. 8+ years of overall process engineering experience, with at least 5 years of experience in an EPCM environment Documented capability to apply core chemical engineering principles, codes, standards, and TRI’s QMS to complex design work. Track record of independent problem-solving, peer review, and the behavioral attributes required for technical anchoring and mentorship. All applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada, be a resident, and residing in Calgary or be willing to relocate to Calgary, to be considered for the position. Exigences
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Process or Chemical Engineering and professional registration with APEGA or an equivalent provincial body. Candidates must have 8+ years of process engineering experience, including at least 5 years within an EPCM environment.
