About Us! Trim Landscaping is a full-service landscaping company that provides commercial and large-scale high-end residential landscaping services in Nova Scotia. We are continually growing and are looking to add a Landscape Maintenance Supervisor to oversee our mowing team in Bedford! Check out Trim Landscaping to learn more! Day-to-day, you will oversee multiple mowing crews operating across a variety of residential and commercial properties, including parks, sports fields, schools, and other public green spaces. You will ensure crews are properly equipped, understand daily routes and expectations, maintain quality standards, and operate safely and efficiently throughout the day. What You’ll Do Supervise and support multiple mowing crews throughout the season Ensure crews understand daily routes, site expectations, and job priorities Conduct regular site visits and quality inspections to ensure work meets company standards Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to keep crews operating efficiently Train and mentor crew members on proper mowing techniques, safety, and customer service expectations Monitor productivity and identify opportunities for improved efficiency and quality Ensure all crews follow company safety policies and safe operating procedures Assist with scheduling adjustments due to weather, staffing, or operational needs Communicate regularly with the Operations Manager regarding staffing, equipment, quality concerns, and customer feedback Support onboarding and performance management of mowing staff Assist crews hands-on when required during busy periods Ensure equipment inspections, maintenance reporting, and cleanliness standards are completed Respond professionally to customer questions or concerns on site Ensure all reporting and logs are completed for commercial customers Use company systems/apps for scheduling, communication, and tracking work completion Compensation & Benefits $27.00–$32.00 per hour (based on experience) Company truck and fuel card provided Cell phone allowance or participation in Trim’s company phone plan Participation in company bonus program Health & dental benefits available after 3 months (50/50 cost share) Employer-matching RSP program available after 6 months Opportunities for growth and advancement within the company Qualifications & Requirements Previous experience in landscape maintenance or lawn care required Previous supervisory or crew leadership experience preferred Strong knowledge of mowing equipment, trimming, edging, and property maintenance standards Ability to lead and motivate crews in a fast-paced outdoor environment Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple crews and priorities simultaneously Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract Experience towing trailers and operating commercial landscaping equipment considered an asset Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to problem solve and make decisions independently Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship We thank all applicants for their interest in this opportunity; however, only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
