The Position: As the Shipper/Receiver, under the direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, you will provide support to our distribution system by safely receiving, shipping and storing items. Ensure items are stored appropriately to their desired location. Ensure the return authorization process is properly followed. Maintain inspections and verification of incoming goods. Ensure inventory location is based upon warehouse bin location system and safe warehouse practices. Maintain accurate updated warehouse bin location system. Ensure the completion of daily cycle counts. Ensure cooperation with special projects as required. Ensure communication is effective and informative regarding issues which may affect the quality of service or products Working in a warehouse environment. Tolerating frequent interruptions. Compensation based on a regular work week of thirty-seven and one half (37.5) working hours. As An Ideal Candidate, You Have Secondary school diploma. Certification to operate a forklift Dangerous Goods Training Ability to successfully complete WHMIS and other Health and Safety training. Competency with safe operation of forklifts, pallet trucks and stretch wrappers. Minimum one (1) year related warehouse shipping and receiving experience (preferred) Strong organizational skills. Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, Word, Excel, Outlook Ability to use RF Scanners and computerized shipping system. Ability to use data terminals and computerized receiving/ shipping system. Ability to lift and carry 30-50 lbs.
