ABOUT THE ROLE Reporting to the Electrical Service Manager and Operations Manager, the Journeyperson Electrician will work on a variety of commercial and industrial sites throughout the Vernon area. This is a casual position with the potential to transition into full-time, permanent employment for the right candidate. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Travel to a variety of customer sites in commercial and/or industrial environments to execute planned maintenance, repairs, or upgrades; * Ensure all executed work follows scope and meets quality standards; * Maintain the highest possible standard in all customer communication setting expectations and managing the customer experience throughout; * Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements. Our Must Haves * Successfully obtained your Red Seal Electrician certification; * Hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driver’s abstract; * Committed to customer service and going the extra mile while servicing clients; * Ability to think on your feet and utilize strong problem-solving capabilities; * Experience working in food and beverage, forestry, mining, or natural resources industries will be considered an asset.
