Accompany and guide customers to find inspiring furniture and home décor during their visit to our store. As a Sales Associate, you will represent Urban Barn by offering friendly service and product knowledge to help our customers create a space they love to call home. In collaborating with the store team and managers, you will provide our customers with the best shopping experience possible. Our stores are open 7 days a week, so we’re looking for candidates who can work a variety of shifts (i.e. weekdays, weeknights and weekends). Why Join Urban Barn: * We don't just sell home décor, we help furnish life's biggest moments * Competitive wage, commissions, and bonuses * A 40% discount on Urban Barn products * Opportunities for professional development and advancement * We offer a fun work environment with a collaborative team that loves to talk design What You Will Do: * Guide customers in their décor choices, suggesting the best products for their needs * Provide a warm greeting to every customer * Establish connections with customers to build customer loyalty * Carry out transactions (purchases, exchanges, and returns) * Maintain the visual standards and cleanliness of the store What you Bring: * At least 2 years of Retail Sales experience * A passion for interior décor and merchandising * Ease of using technology such as a Point-of-Sale system and iPad * Flexible schedule to work a minimum of 3 days (12-20 hours) per week – including at least 1 weekend and 1 evenings shift * The ability to lift and move loads up to 50 lbs / 23 kg Urban Barn offers a welcoming environment where inclusion, diversity, and equity are paramount. You will guide customers in selecting furniture and home décor while providing a welcoming and professional shopping experience. Additionally, you will manage transactions and maintain the store's visual standards to ensure a high-quality environment.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of retail sales experience and a passion for interior design. You must be comfortable using technology like POS systems and be available to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
