JOB TITLE: Product Designer V LOCATION: Remote (Canada) East or West Coast time zones preferred; must be flexible to support meetings across both time zones. DURATION: 6 Months PAY RANGE: TBD TOP 3 SKILLS: 10+ years of product design experience delivering end-to-end design work for digital products, from discovery through execution. Strong portfolio showcasing interaction design, visual design, and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in Figma or equivalent design and prototyping tools. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Research) and applying inclusive, accessible, and user-centered design principles. Company: Our client is a Fortune 500 multi-national technology company headquartered in Menlo Park, CA. About the Role: The Client is seeking a temporary Product Designer to support cross-functional teams in delivering thoughtful, accessible, and high-quality product experiences. In this role, you will partner with product, engineering, research, and other stakeholders to help define user problems, explore solution options, and produce design deliverables that support product development. Ideal Candidate: You are a systems thinker and can design scalable, ecosystem-minded solutions. You care about quality and have the expertise on best practices to instill a quality-first team culture. You care about users, their needs, and ensuring they are successful in using our products. You are self-driven and enjoy diving into new spaces. You are empathetic and prioritize building an inclusive, uplifting team culture. You have 10+ years of industry experience You are a senior-level designer who can immediately contribute to the project without extensive handholding. Candidates with experience in e-commerce or banking are preferred because of the complexity of dealing with payments and complex apps. They need to be high craft and a very good product thinker. Need to have a platform around ecommerce, public-facing, and not back-end. Portfolios showcasing e-commerce, payment solutions, etc., are helpful to see outcomes. What did you make, and what is the impact? Responsibilities: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to understand product goals, user needs, and constraints. Translate requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity design solutions as appropriate. Apply interaction, visual, and systems thinking to improve usability and clarity across the product experience. Incorporate feedback and iterate on designs efficiently based on reviews, research insights, and product learnings. Contribute to and align with existing design systems and established patterns where applicable. Communicate design decisions clearly through documentation, presentations, and design reviews. Must-Have Skills: Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain design rationale and incorporate feedback. Proficiency with common design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma or equivalent). Demonstrated product design experience delivering end-to-end design work (e.g., discovery through execution) for digital products. Strong portfolio showcasing interaction design, visual design, and problem-solving skills. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, research) in fast-paced environments. Understanding of inclusive, accessible, and user-centered design principles.
