Job Description: Accounts Receivable Manager Company: Valor Medical Solutions Location: San Antonio, TX Type: Full-time Department: Finance and Administration Position Overview As an Accounts Receivable (AR) Manager at Valor Medical Solutions, you'll lead our AR team and oversee the complete process of capturing sales, billing, and collecting payments. We seek a seasoned professional with deep insights into medical billing and AR processes to optimize cash flow, ensure timely collections, and maintain financial health. Key Responsibilities: AR Management: Oversee and manage all accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, collections, and reporting. Analyze accounts regularly to identify billing discrepancies and rectify any inconsistencies. Coordinate and review the preparation of monthly billing statements. Team Leadership: Mentor, guide, and supervise the AR team members, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in their tasks. Provide ongoing training to the team on best practices in medical billing and AR. Stakeholder Communication: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to facilitate timely payment of invoices. Coordinate with the sales and customer service departments to resolve billing queries or disputes. Reporting And Analysis: Prepare regular reports showcasing AR status for senior management. Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the billing and collections process. Compliance And Regulations: Ensure AR practices adhere to legal and regulatory standards, particularly those specific to medical billing. Stay updated with changes in insurance policies, Medicare, Medicaid, and other relevant billing regulations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, with at least 2 years in a managerial role. Proven experience in medical AR and billing is essential. Strong understanding of medical billing codes, insurance claims, and healthcare regulations. Proficient in AR software and tools, preferably specific to the medical industry.
