Whether you're new to construction or have some handyman experience, this role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment. *Duties* * Assist with the installation and repair of siding using hand tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, and drills * Support carpenters in measuring, cutting, and fitting siding materials according to blueprints and project specifications * Prepare work areas by cleaning surfaces, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials for efficient workflow * Perform heavy lifting of siding panels and related materials safely and effectively * Apply caulking around windows, doors, and joints to ensure weatherproofing and a clean finish * Read and interpret blueprints to help accurately position siding components * Maintain a clean worksite by disposing of debris and storing tools properly throughout the day *Experience* * Prior construction experience or handyman background preferred but not required; willingness to learn is key! * Familiarity with hand tools used in carpentry or siding installation is advantageous * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods during project tasks * Basic knowledge of blueprint reading helps ensure accurate installation work * Experience with caulking or sealing exterior surfaces is a plus * Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork This role is paid, offering valuable on-the-job training that builds your construction expertise.
