Role Description The Independent Contractor will work full time in a remote capacity, supporting clients with travel planning, information, and booking assistance. Day-to-day responsibilities include researching and curating travel specials, preparing clear and accurate itineraries and quotes, and responding promptly to client inquiries via email, phone, and online platforms. The contractor will provide detailed guidance on destinations, transportation options, accommodations, and cruise packages, while ensuring that recommendations meet client needs and budgets. Additional tasks may include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Canadian and international travel trends, collaborating on promotional materials, and adhering to professional and ethical standards in all client interactions. Qualifications Strong travel research and planning skills, including the ability to identify relevant offers for Vancouver, BC and broader Canadian destinations. Proficiency with online booking tools, travel platforms, and basic office software (e.g., email, spreadsheets, and document editors). Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain travel options clearly and professionally to diverse clients. Customer service orientation, including active listening, problem-solving, and a consistent focus on client satisfaction. Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and organize multiple client requests and tasks. Attention to detail and accuracy when preparing itineraries, pricing, and documentation. Familiarity with the Canadian travel market, cruise products, and tourism trends is highly beneficial. Previous experience in travel consulting, hospitality, or related fields is an asset; relevant certifications or training in travel services are advantageous.

The contractor will support clients with travel planning, booking assistance, and the curation of travel specials. Responsibilities include preparing accurate itineraries and providing detailed guidance on destinations and cruise packages.

Candidates must possess strong travel research skills and proficiency with online booking tools and office software. Experience in travel consulting or hospitality and familiarity with the Canadian travel market are highly beneficial.
