Join our team as a Directional Drilling Field Specialist and leverage cutting-edge technology to deliver premium directional drilling and downhole services. This hands-on leadership role combines technical expertise with team management, ensuring safe and economical wellsite operations while achieving precise target paths for our valued customers. Roles and Responsibilities * Lead and supervise wellsite directional drilling operations to achieve target paths safely and economically * Oversee bottom hole assembly (BHA) configuration according to engineering specifications * Manage operation, inspection, and maintenance of motors and downhole tools at rig sites * Execute Rotary Steerable System (RSS) operations with precision * Generate comprehensive daily and final well reports, maintain accurate well profile plots, and provide directional survey data to customers * Supervise, mentor, and train directional drilling team members across all experience levels (DD I, DD II, DD III) * Collaborate with MWD teams to optimize BHA specifications and engineering parameters * Serve as primary communication liaison between wellsite personnel, internal teams, and customer representatives * Maintain detailed equipment records for all wellsite tools * Support marketing, sales, and promotion of company products and services * Enforce all safety protocols, participate in mandatory safety meetings, and demonstrate unwavering commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards Skills and Education * Minimum 2+ years of directional drilling experience required * 2+ years of experience as a Driller or Derrick-hand * Hands-on experience with Rotary Steerable tools * Comprehensive knowledge of Drilling Systems products and services * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively interact with rig-site personnel at all levels * Strong problem-solving abilities with capacity to work independently with minimal supervision * Outstanding organizational, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills * Positive attitude with high degree of self-discipline and motivation #LI-KP1 Weatherford is a leading global energy services company.
