Position (Overview of Job): We are seeking a detail-oriented Stores Person to take ownership of our Stores room and ensure the accurate and efficient management of inventory. This role involves both the physical and system-based handling of parts and products, requiring close coordination with purchasing, the hangar floor, and other internal teams. Key Responsibilities: Set up and manage the Stores room, ensuring organization and efficiency. Physically receive products and accurately enter receipts into the inventory system (Sage 300). Ensure all inventory is received into the correct locations or jobs. Monitor purchase order (PO) locations to ensure data accuracy and alignment with job requirements. Oversee part setup, including tracking average cost (AVG), non-stock (NS), and repairable (REP) items. Allocate new parts to appropriate new locations within the inventory system. Perform monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Respond promptly to inventory inquiries from staff across departments. Provide immediate support to the hangar floor team for urgent inventory requests. Qualifications: Prior experience working in a Stores or inventory management environment. Strong understanding of inventory transactions and controls. Experience with Sage 300 (considered a strong asset). Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Based in or able to reliably commute to Breslau, ON. Valid G driver’s license. ***Contract Length - up to 6 months*** Why work at De Havilland?
