Customer Service Excellence: Assist customers at the parts counter by understanding their needs and efficiently locating the correct parts to get them back up and running. Master Diagnostics: Read and interpret parts diagnostics, diagrams, and technical drawings to ensure precision in every order. Utilize Technology: Navigate computerized inventory systems and parts libraries to track down the perfect part. Handle Special Orders: Follow up on special orders and keep customers informed as soon as their parts arrive. Merchandising Support: Help create and maintain eye-catching merchandising displays that showcase our parts and promotions. Promote Our Specials: Actively promote dealership specials and merchandising campaigns, boosting sales and customer satisfaction. Customer Satisfaction: Ensure every customer feels valued and appreciated, creating a welcoming atmosphere at all times. Requirements Education: Journeyperson Parts Technician designation or equivalent experience. Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience within a Parts department. Previous John Deere agricultural equipment and product experience is an asset. Technical Skills: Experience using online inventory systems and standard desktop applications including Microsoft Office and other browser-based programs, along with a demonstrated understanding of sales processes. People-Focused: Strong interpersonal skills with experience connecting with customers while maintaining a professional image and establishing rapport. Soft Skills: Strong time management skills, ability to be adaptable, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Physical Capability: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs with long periods of standing and walking. Valid Driver's License: You'll need this for parts deliveries.
