Server - Experienced

Nature & Scope Working alongside the Event Service team - the Server will be responsible for providing clients and guests with a high level of service and exceptional experience. . The Ideal Applicant should: * Have experience in Fine Dining or Fine Casual restaurants * Have a great attitude and strong customer service skills * Feel at home in high-volume, fast-paced environments - Catering experience is an asset * Enjoy working in different environments (outdoors, indoors, homes, large venues) * Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills * Have a desire to continue learning and growing * Be willing to work as a part of a team and follow instructions * Self starter * Management in the restaurant or catering industry is an asset Duties and Responsibilities * Good time management skills * Read and understand the beverage menu offerings for the event * Have a strong attention to detail * Be proactive in anticipating the needs of the client and their guests * Assist with set-up and breakdown of items required to complete the event successfully * Balance and carry trays beverages and glassware * Communicate respectfully and effectively with all team members across the organization * Maintain operational tools used by the beverage service team * Contribute to a clean, sanitary and professional work environment * Cleaning and garbage/compost/recycling removal as required * Approach all tasks in line with the White Table philosophy, aesthetic and standard of excellence * Complete any other duties necessary to ensure the success of the operation * Promote a positive work environment * Promote teamwork, cleanliness, and professionalism (Only have work appropriate conversations and behaviors) * Work well with outside vendors and represent White Table in a positive and cooperative manner Requirements * Valid Serving it Right certification * Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on the business’ and event-specific needs * Must be eligible to work in Canada * Ability to bend, lift, and carry 50 pounds * Ability to stand and be mobile for an excess of 8 hours * Ability to lead a team * Previous serving experience for minimum 2 years * Previous management experience in food and beverage is an asset

The Server is responsible for providing high-level service and exceptional experiences to clients and guests during events. Duties include managing beverage service, assisting with event set-up and breakdown, and maintaining a professional work environment.

Candidates must have at least 2 years of serving experience and a valid Serving it Right certification. Physical ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for over 8 hours is required, along with eligibility to work in Canada.
