Learn more: www.jamiesonwellness.com About the Role As a key member of the Quality Assurance Team, you’ll help shape health and wellness outcomes for people around the world. In this role, you will: Responsibilities Reporting to the Manager, Compliance, the Supervisor of Third-Party Quality, will establish and support quality systems as defined by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) relating to natural health and pharmaceutical products produced by Third Party Bulk and Purchased Finished Good vendors. Note this role’s responsibilities do not extend to JWEL raw material suppliers and vendors. They will provide oversight and support for vendor qualification in alignment with corporate JWEL standards. They will act as the qualified person (as defined under section C.02.006 of Good Manufacturing Practices Guidelines) in the oversight of third party finished products. Specific Key Responsibilities & Duties Support new product development and lifecycle management for third party products by providing quality oversight and direction. Responsibility for all third-party specifications, test methods, controls and results that affect the purity, quality and composition of each ingredient and product. Ensure vendor specifications are aligned with in-house specifications with respect to testing parameters, methodologies, and limits. Responsible for developing and overseeing the JWEL annual audit schedule and budget for third parties. Support all quality functions for third party vendors such as: Audits and qualification processes. Regulatory Agency Inspections. Product Recalls. GMP Training. GMP Quality Agreements. Product Complaints. CAPAs. Change Control Process. Approve or reject product quality deviations and product reprocessing in the manufacture of third-party products; written procedures shall be established and implemented. Record maintenance for returned, reprocessed, and redistributed products. Vendor Risk Mitigation – and creating strategy to mitigate risk. Measuring KPIs through quarterly scorecards. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree of Science in Nutrition, Food Science, Biomedical Science, or an appropriate Life Science from an accredited post-secondary institution. Minimum five (5) years of relevant natural health product/dietary supplement experience. Comprehensive knowledge of Canadian NHP GMP manufacturing operations. Superior communication and supervisory skills. High degree of resourcefulness, flexibility, adaptability, and problem solving through creative solutions. Compensation Jamieson Wellness offers a competitive total rewards package designed to support your well-being and professional growth. This includes base pay, eligibility for our Short-Term Incentive Program, and a comprehensive benefits offering. For this role, the posting range is $62,900 - $94,300 which reflects the full salary range of the position. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as relevant experience, level of education, role scope, and other professional qualifications aligned with the requirements and complexity of this position.
