MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. * 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting. * 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture. * Experience with programming in C++, Python, or SQL. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: * Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields. * Experience developing accessible technologies. * Experience in building scalable ML systems. * Experience in anti-abuse adversarial domain. * Experience in large-scale data analysis. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop solutions to protect Google Ads from ever changing attacks and has significant room for growth. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Write product or system development code. * Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency). * Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback. * Work with the team to develop solutions to classify and understand actors and their assets including destinations in Google Ads using modern machine learning techniques. * Collaborate with partner teams to provide holistic solutions to detect and stop bad actors from re-entering Google Ads, and to reduce friction for good actors.
