Job#: 3045439 Job Description: Overview Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Deal Architect / Procurement Strategy Lead to support a major digital workplace transformation initiative within a large, complex public-sector environment. This 6-month contract opportunity is fully remote and will lead the development of sourcing strategies, commercial models, procurement approaches, and vendor negotiation plans for a large-scale technology services program. The successful candidate will bring extensive experience in managed services transformation, contract strategy, commercial negotiations, and executive stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Develop and evaluate sourcing and procurement strategies for large-scale technology services. Assess outsourcing, insourcing, and hybrid delivery options. Lead market engagement activities, including vendor assessments and industry consultations. Design flexible service delivery models that support changing business needs. Commercial & Financial Strategy Develop commercial frameworks and pricing models that improve transparency, accountability, and value. Create mechanisms to manage cost, performance, and service accountability. Build business cases and total cost of ownership (TCO) analyses. Identify opportunities to leverage automation, AI, and innovation to improve service outcomes. Contract & Vendor Management Design contract structures, governance models, and service level agreements (SLAs). Define service accountability frameworks and performance measures. Lead complex vendor negotiations and commercial discussions. Ensure clear ownership of tools, data, operational responsibilities, and service outcomes. Executive Stakeholder Management Present recommendations to executive steering committees and senior leadership teams. Collaborate with operational, technical, financial, procurement, and legal stakeholders. Drive alignment across multiple organizations and governance groups. Support transition planning and implementation activities. Required Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience as a Deal Architect, Commercial Director, Procurement Lead, Commercial Manager, or similar role. Demonstrated experience leading large-scale sourcing, outsourcing, or contract transformation initiatives. Strong background in commercial negotiations, procurement strategy, and managed services contracts. Experience developing governance frameworks, performance models, and accountability structures. Exceptional stakeholder management, facilitation, and executive communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience within healthcare, government, or other highly regulated environments. Experience with digital workplace services and enterprise IT managed services. Familiarity with ServiceNow, ITIL, AI-enabled services, automation initiatives, and IT service management frameworks.
